Dr. Maeve O'Connor is adjunct assistant professor, Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of North Carolina Charlotte in N.C., and is in private practice at Allergy Asthma & Immunology Relief of Charlotte (AAIR). She is secretary of the ACAAI House of Delegates and a member of the ACAAI-AAAAI Regional Advocacy Discussion and Response (RADAR) program. She also is vice chair of the ACAAI Women's Health Committee and is a member of the Website Content Committee, Basic and Clinical Immunology Committee, Dermatologic al Committee, Immunotherapy & Diagnostics Committee and Women in Allergy Committee. She served as a Nationwide Asthma and Allergy Screening coordinator since 2006; an Anaphylaxis Community Expert on the ACE's program since 2010; and was vice-chair of the Public Education Committee. Dr. O'Connor was president of the Southeastern Association of Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology, 2011-12.
