Learn How to Better Manage Your Wealth and Plan Your Estate at New, Complimentary ACAAI Workshop for Allergists and Spouses

The ACAAI Foundation is sponsoring a complimentary Annual Meeting Workshop developed specifically for allergists that will greatly impact your financial planning strategy. The new workshop #W15, titled “Retirement and Estate Planning for Allergists and Spouses,” is Saturday evening, Nov. 9 from 5:30-7:00 pm.

“In light of changes in our health care environment, our economy, and even our state laws, this workshop led by industry experts will assist participants in achieving their personal financial goals and realize valuable tax benefits,” said ACAAI Foundation President Nathan Segall, MD, FACAAI.

Topics will include asset protection and transfer, innovative ways to deploy capital and various means to minimize the tax impact on your estate. You will learn about the advantages of charitable bequests, charitable remainder trusts and charitable lead trusts, and how to select knowledgeable advisors who can offer guidance on formulating a financial strategy that is right for you.

“The workshop is one of many inspiring strategies discussed at our spring retreat that will enhance our giving programs and add value for our donors at all levels. We also agreed to raise the bar and recognize donors who achieve the 20K Club giving level,” Dr. Segall said.

Donors of all levels can reach their goal by contributing in a variety of ways including the Tithe-a-Talk program, cash donations, contributions of stock and charitable trusts/bequests. For more information see the Foundation page of the College member website.

You can also support the Foundation by entering your best photos in the Photography Exhibit and Competition sponsored by the Alliance.

Contributions are always welcome and help support Fellows-in-Training Program Relief Grants, Young Faculty Support Awards and other Foundation grants. Please send your tax deductible donations to: ACAAI Foundation, 85 W. Algonquin Road, Suite 550, Arlington Heights, IL 60005. Checks should be made payable to ACAAI Foundation.
